What's New: 25 Bank, E-Wallet and Card Promo Pages

TipidNation already covers GCash, Maya, GoTyme, BDO, BPI and other big names, and this update fills the gaps readers kept asking about. The new pages span five groups: e-wallets and crypto, banks, credit card networks, buy now pay later apps and OFW remittance services.

Every page follows the same layout. You get a list of current offers (between 3 and 10 per page), a company background section, a comparison with similar brands, a five-step guide and an FAQ. Several pages also carry 11.11 Sale and Black Friday items, with dates matching our 11.11 Sale Philippines page and Black Friday Sale page.

Cards, Wallets and the 11.11 and Black Friday Rush

The biggest shopping weeks of the year are close. The 11.11 Sale lands on November 11, 2026 and Black Friday runs November 27 to 30, 2026, so it pays to set up your payment tools now rather than during the sale. A wallet with a cash-in ready, a credit card that has hit its monthly spend target, or an installment limit you already understand can all change your final price.

A few examples from the new pages. HSBC Philippines lists Live+ cashback of up to 5% on shopping with a monthly spend minimum. ShopeePay users saw perks like free shipping with no minimum spend in past 11.11 campaigns. BillEase lists 0% interest for transactions up to ₱2,000 payable within a month through its Maya Business partnership. Terms change, so read each page and the official promo terms first.

Going Abroad or Sending Money Home

Travel and remittance are where small differences cost real money. For Japan trips, the BDO JCB page covers the October 1 to November 30 rebate of 10% on Japan spend and 5% elsewhere after ₱50,000 in spend, capped at ₱5,000. For China and Hong Kong, UnionPay cards are issued by BDO, RCBC Bankard and PNB.

For OFWs, the new remittance pages compare Wise, Remitly, Sendwave, Taptap Send, Western Union and BCRemit. Look at the peso amount your family receives, plus the delivery method, since cash pickup, bank deposit and GCash delivery each have different speeds. Our best digital banks for OFW remittances guide pairs well with these pages.

How We Wrote These Pages

For each brand we checked the company's official pages and recent news coverage for background facts, current products and promo windows. That work changed several pages. American Express, JCB and Diners Club are all tied to BDO in the Philippines, so those pages link to the BDO promo page. Home Credit started in the Philippines in 2013. SPayLater plans carry interest rather than being free.

We also left out Standard Chartered. It sold its Philippine retail and card business to EastWest, so there are no consumer card promos to list. If you want that kind of card today, see our EastWest Bank page.

Your 5-Step Guide to Using These Pages Smartly

1

Pick your goal first

Shopping, travel, remittance or freelancing. The goal decides which category you open.

2

Read the offer window

Note start and end dates, minimum spend and eligible cards or wallets before you apply.

3

Compare the fine print

Check annual fees, interest, conversion costs and cashback caps, not just the headline percentage.

4

Use the comparison section

Every page has four-way comparison cards that link to similar brands, which helps you spot a better fit.

5

Confirm on the official site

Promos can change or end early, so confirm eligibility with the bank or app before you commit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which new bank and e-wallet promo pages did TipidNation add?
TipidNation added 25 pages: PayPal, Coins.ph, ShopeePay, GrabPay, Payoneer, PDAX, Overseas Filipino Bank, HSBC, Maybank, Bank of Commerce, PSBank, UnionPay, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, SPayLater, BillEase, Atome, Home Credit, Wise, Sendwave, Taptap Send, Remitly, Western Union and BCRemit.
Are the offers on these pages guaranteed to work?
No. Bank and wallet promos run for set windows, need minimum spend and can end early. Each page describes the type of offer, the dates we found and where to read the official terms. Always confirm eligibility with the bank or app before you apply or pay.
Which card is best for online sales like 11.11 and Black Friday?
It depends on your spend. HSBC Live+ lists up to 5% cashback on shopping and entertainment with a monthly minimum, while Red Platinum earns 4x points on online and overseas spend. Compare cashback caps, minimum spend and annual fees. Our best credit cards in the Philippines guide covers the wider field.
What is the cheapest way to send money home as an OFW?
There is no single answer, because the final peso amount depends on your sending country, payment method and delivery method. Compare Wise, Remitly, Sendwave, Taptap Send, Western Union and BCRemit on the amount your family actually receives, not just the advertised fee.
Is buy now pay later safe to use for sale-day shopping?
It works when you can repay on time. Most SPayLater plans carry monthly interest, reported at 1% to 5% depending on your credit profile, plus a processing fee. Check the total repayment before you confirm, and avoid stacking several installments in one month.
Why is there no Standard Chartered page?
Standard Chartered sold its Philippine retail and credit card business to EastWest and now operates as a corporate bank in the country, so there are no consumer card promos to list. EastWest cards are covered on our EastWest Bank page.
Does TipidNation earn commission from these pages?
TipidNation may earn commissions from qualifying purchases through affiliate partnerships. This helps support the platform at no additional cost to users.
