Looking for a GrabTaxi Philippines promo code or a cheaper way to book a taxi? GrabTaxi lets you book a regular metered taxi in the Grab app, see an estimated fare first and track your driver on the map. You pay the meter plus a booking fee, and in Metro Manila you can also book a metered electric taxi through GrabTaxi Electric. Here is how fares work, where to find savings and how to compare taxi, GrabCar and other apps before the 11.11 and Christmas rush.
How to Use These Codes
There are two reliable ways to apply a GrabTaxi Philippines coupon. The fastest is to paste the code directly into the search bar at the top of the app or website, the discount applies automatically to eligible products before you reach checkout. Alternatively, click through our verified link and the code auto-applies as you browse.
Once you're at the checkout page, double-check the voucher or coupon section. Any stored vouchers in your account will appear here and can be applied on top of sale prices. If you're a new user, your welcome code activates automatically, you don't need to enter anything manually.

GrabTaxi vs. The Alternatives
When should you use GrabTaxi, and when is the competition the better bet? Here's the honest breakdown.
Booking fee on top
Up to 6 passengers
Cars from ₱45
JoyRide Car
GrabTaxi uses regulated metered fares, while GrabCar Philippines ride deals show an upfront private-car price. Maxim Philippines ride deals are worth a look in provincial cities, and JoyRide Philippines promo codes cover a rides-and-delivery superapp. For EV taxi rates and areas, read our GrabTaxi Electric guide, and see Maxim vs Grab vs Angkas vs JoyRide for a four-step price comparison. Fares, Booking Fees and Safety on GrabTaxi
A GrabTaxi fare is the taxi meter plus a booking fee. Grab shows an estimate before you confirm, and in cities with a variable booking fee, such as Cebu and Bacolod, Grab says the fee is shown in the app too. Reported booking fees for the Metro Manila electric taxi beta ranged from ₱69 to ₱80, so always trust the in-app amount over any article.
Grab lists an emergency button, number masking and a Share my ride feature in its safety tools. Match the plate number and driver details before you get in, and share your trip with someone you trust. Payment options differ by city and taxi type, so check what the app offers when you book.
