GCash IPO Debut: Largest in Philippine History
Mynt, Inc. made its debut on the Philippine Stock Exchange on October 20, 2026 under the ticker GCASH. According to GMA News, the IPO raised ₱60.9 billion, which the PSE called the largest maiden offering in the local market's history. The shares opened at ₱6.64, touched ₱6.76, and closed at the ₱6.60 offer price.
GMA News also reported a market value of about ₱441.5 billion at the open. Retail took part too: the PSE said about 140,725 GCash users put in roughly ₱1.1 billion through the app. If you missed the offer period, our GCash IPO guide explains how to buy now.
GCASH Stock Price Since the IPO
The first week has been soft. BusinessMirror reported a ₱6.59 close on day two, and Abacus Securities noted that the flat first day suggested active price stabilization by the underwriters. Data from stockanalysis.com shows GCASH at ₱6.27 on October 23, down 4.42% on the day and about 5% below the offer price.
| Date | Close | Versus ₱6.60 IPO |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 20 (debut) | ₱6.60 | Flat |
| Oct 21 | ₱6.59 | -0.15% |
| Oct 22 | ₱6.56 | -0.61% |
| Oct 23 | ₱6.27 | -5.00% |
One thing to watch: Entrepreneur Asia reports that UBS can buy up to 1.204 billion overallotment shares within 30 days of listing to stabilize the price. When that window ends, the stock trades without that support. Check live prices on the PSE or your broker, because these figures move daily.
What Analysts Expect for 2026 and 2027
Mynt reported ₱17.2 billion in net income on ₱79.7 billion of adjusted revenue in 2025, according to Journal News, which also cited Morgan Stanley's 2026 net income estimate of ₱21.2 billion. COL Financial is a little more cautious on 2026 and sets out the 2027 path:
| Metric | 2025 | 2026 forecast | 2027 forecast |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue (COL Financial) | ₱79.7B | ₱91.7B (+15%) | ₱113.6B (+24%) |
| Net income (COL Financial) | ₱17.2B | ₱20.4B (+18%) | ₱25.8B (+26.8%) |
| Price to earnings at ₱6.60 | about 26x | about 22x | about 17x |
Those forecasts come from BusinessMirror and Entrepreneur Asia. The same coverage notes that first-half 2026 net income grew 7.3% while revenue grew 10.4%. The 2027 numbers assume profit growth speeds up, which is the main thing the stock now has to prove. Valuations from AB Capital Securities (₱531 billion to ₱834 billion in equity value, by DCF) ran well above the ₱441.5 billion at listing, but the market is now pricing the shares below that.
GCash Mynt Stock Price Prediction 2027: 3 Scenarios
Here is the math, not a forecast. Take 2027 net income, divide by about 66.9 billion shares to get earnings per share, then multiply by a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple the market might pay. At ₱6.27, GCASH trades at about 16x COL's 2027 earnings.
| Scenario | 2027 net income | EPS | P/E | Implied price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cautious | ₱20.4B (no growth from 2026) | ₱0.30 | 14x | ₱4.27 |
| Middle | ₱25.8B (COL forecast) | ₱0.39 | 17x | ₱6.56 |
| Optimistic | ₱25.8B (COL forecast) | ₱0.39 | 22x | ₱8.48 |
The multiples are our assumptions. We picked 14x, 17x, and 22x to bracket today's forward P/E and the roughly 22x on 2026 earnings that analysts cited at the IPO price. A profit miss with a lower multiple lands near ₱4. Hitting the forecast and keeping a premium multiple lands near ₱8.50. The shares also have no fixed floor or ceiling, so real prices can land outside this range.

Risks That Could Pull the Price Down
- Slower profit growth. Net income grew slower than revenue in the first half of 2026, and Abacus Securities flagged the risk of a disappointing first earnings report after a quarter-on-quarter dip in Q2.
- Regulation. First Metro Securities warned that tighter online gambling rules could weigh on earnings more than expected.
- Credit quality. Lending is a growth driver. Rising bad loans would hurt profit.
- Macro pressure. The peso closed at a record low of ₱63.09 to the dollar on debut day, per GMA News. Entrepreneur Asia says inflation reached 7.2% in September and a 25 basis point rate hike is expected.
- Selling by early holders. Per SunStar, only ₱10.6 billion of the ₱60.9 billion was new money for the company. The other ₱50.3 billion came from existing investors selling their stakes.
What Could Push It Up
- Earnings that beat. Meeting COL's ₱25.8 billion in 2027 is what the optimistic case needs.
- A growing loan book. COL projects the credit arm to reach ₱132.3 billion by 2028, according to BusinessMirror.
- Ecosystem growth. More users using savings, insurance, and investing products adds revenue beyond payments, as the Journal News coverage points out.
- A friendlier market. A stronger peso and lower rates would help the whole PSE.
Dates to Watch Before 2027
- Early to mid November: Mynt's first quarterly results via Globe Telecom, per Abacus Securities.
- Around November 19: the end of the 30-day stabilization window, by our count from the listing date.
- The BSP's next rate decision: it affects the whole market.
- Mynt's 2026 full-year results: they show whether the ₱20.4 billion estimate was right.
How to Think About It as a Filipino Investor
A single stock is a risky bet. If you want GCash exposure, size it as a small part of a portfolio, and consider building a base first. Our guide on online stock brokers in the Philippines compares costs, and Philippine vs US stocks helps you decide where the rest of your money goes. Stock transaction costs still apply, so a short-term trade needs a price move larger than the fees.
