How much can you earn with Maya Savings?
Interest on a savings account adds up slowly at first and faster over time. The earlier you start and the more you deposit regularly, the more interest works for you. Maya combines a wallet and savings in one app, so it is easy to move money in and out as you plan.
This calculator projects your Maya balance from your deposits and the rate you enter. Because rates and terms change, treat the result as a scenario. Try a lower rate to see a cautious case, then a higher one to see the upside.
See current offers and promo codes on the Maya page, then plan your goal with the savings goal calculator.
How the Maya projection works
- Each month your deposit is added, then interest accrues on the running balance at one twelfth of the yearly rate.
- Monthly compounding adds interest to your balance every month, so it starts earning on itself. Choose yearly crediting to see the slower case.
- The rate is an input. Maya rates and conditions can change, so check the current rate and any balance limits in the app and enter it here.
- The projection is before tax and does not include fees or withdrawals.
Tips to save more
- Set up a fixed monthly deposit so saving happens automatically.
- Check the app for the latest rate and any balance cap before you decide.
- Keep an emergency fund separate from goal savings.
- Compare at least two products before you commit a large amount.
