How to use this calculator
- Open both apps and add the same order to your cart.
- Enter the food subtotal, delivery fee and service fee for foodpanda.
- Enter the same details for GrabFood.
- Add any voucher, either in pesos or as a percent off the food.
- Read the total for each app and the difference, then order from the cheaper one.
How to pick the cheaper food delivery app
Food delivery prices are not the same on every app. Menu prices, delivery fees, service fees and vouchers all change the final total, so the cheapest option can switch from one order to the next. Checking both apps takes a minute and can save a meaningful amount over a month.
This calculator makes the comparison simple. Put the numbers from both carts side by side and it shows the total and the savings. Try different vouchers to see how much each one changes the result.
Find current vouchers on the foodpanda and GrabFood pages, and read the foodpanda vs GrabFood guide for more tips.
How the two totals are compared
- Total equals food subtotal plus delivery fee plus service fee, minus your voucher in pesos and your percent voucher on the food.
- A percent voucher is applied to the food subtotal only, and the total never goes below zero.
- Menu prices can differ between apps for the same restaurant, so enter the price you see on each one.
- Fees change by time, distance and demand, so compare at the moment you order.
Tips to save more
- Compare both apps at the time you order, since fees change.
- Check for free delivery and wallet or card promos before you pay.
- Group orders with friends to share the delivery fee.
- Consider pickup for restaurants close to you.
